Finally, the book is bound in the style of your choice. I bind my books by hand using traditional methods and the finest materials. I intend for each book to be a work of art that also stands the test of time. After the book is printed, the signatures, or sections of the book, are sewn together onto linen tapes. Endpapers are added, and the book is "cased in," or set into the prepared cover. The book is pressed in an iron press. The pressure ensures that the book dries flat. Finally, decorations are embossed with traditional brass tools. The raised cord spine and simple tooling show off the natural beauty of the leather.
